Do you know someone who loves animation and wants to try their hand at it?

Tell them about the Fantastic Flipbooks program at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, at our Lake Branch.

Before rendering software, multiplane cameras, or even TechniColor, animation started with drawings.

Teens can draw one of the first kinds of animation—a flip book—at the library. We’ll provide the art materials and Post-Its. All they need to bring is their imagination!

The program is free and open to everyone from 12 to 17 years old. However, we do ask that you register beforehand. You can sign up on our website or call the library at (440) 257-2512.
