There’s no better way to learn about farm animals than to see them up close.

Fortunately, Mentor Public Library is a short drive from a farm that doesn’t mind taking some of its animals on the road—Lake Metroparks Farmpark, to be specific.

The Farmpark brought a sheep, chicken and rabbit to our Main Branch on Friday. Kids got to learn about each animal and what they do on a farm.

They also got a chance to pet them!
