Faxing

Mentor Public Library has a Send and Receive FAX service at the Main Library. MPL staff will operate the fax machine for you. The charges to send faxes are $1.00 for a 1-2 page document and $2.00 for 3 or more pages. The charge for receiving a fax is $1.00. Mentor-on-the-Lake and Headlands Branches can send (but not receive) faxes.

Copying

There are coin-operated copiers at all Mentor Library locations. The costs are $.10 per page for single-sided black and white and $.20 per page for double-sided black and white. Single-sided color copies are $.25 per page and double-sided color copies are $.50 per page.

Printing

You can make B&W and color prints at all Mentor Library locations. The costs are $.10 per page for single-sided black and white and $.20 per page for double-sided black and white. Single-sided color print outs are $.25 per page and double-sided color print outs are $.50 per page.

Large Format Printing

The Main Library has a Large Format Printer which can be used for printing banners, posters, images on oversized paper, etc. The cost is $0.025 per square inch. Prints have a maximum height of 40″. There is no limit on length. Files must be submitted in .PDF format. MPL will email you an estimated cost and expect approval before printing commences. Submit a Large Format Print request.

Display Cases

The Main Library has two lovely display cases in the foyer. Displays change at the beginning of each month. The dimensions of the display cases are 5′ x 6′ with a height of 6’6″. To inquire about putting up a display, please call the Library at 440.255.8811 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and ask for Sue Fram at extension 233.

Quiet Study Rooms

The Main Library has three quiet rooms available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each room is available for a two-hour period. These rooms are same day, in-house reservations only. Click to see the Quiet Study Room Guidelines.

Meeting Rooms

The Mentor Public Library has a number of Community and Meeting Rooms for library sponsored or co-sponsored programs which meet the library’s civic, informational, cultural, educational and recreational service goals. When a room is not in use for library activities, it is made available on a first-come basis under the guidelines as approved by the Board of Trustees. Click to see the Library Use Rental Agreement.
