Sing and Swing Musical Story time

Join us for a special musical story time led by Mrs. Jen, from Sing and Swing on Tuesday, March 16 at 10:00 am. Attendees must be between the ages of 1 Month and 5 Years old. Registration is recommended. Register online or call 440.255.8811.

Paws to Read

Kids who are able to read independently are invited to the Main Library's Children's Theater on Wednesday, March 17. We'll pair you with a gentle dog who is licensed and trained to be a good listener. Attendees must be between the ages of 6 and 12 years old, between the grades of 1 and 6, and must give 24 hour cancellation notice to allow others on the waiting list to attend. This event will fill quickly! Register online starting March 3 for a 7:00 pm session or a 7:30 pm session or call 440.255.8811.

Poetry and Pizza Night for Tweens

Tweens will have the opportunity to share poems of their favorite poets or read what they have composed themselves inside the Children’s Theater. Song lyrics can also be shared or performed for their peers in grades fifth to eighth grades. Come read a funny, dramatic or sad poem in our intimate, relaxed café setting on Thursday, March 18 at 7:00 pm. Hot cocoa, pop, and pizza will be served. Attendees must be between the grades of 5 and 8 and MUST give 24 hour cancellation notice to allow others on the waiting list to attend. Register online or call 440.255.8811.

Calling All Girl Scouts

Calling All Girl Scouts is a program designed to help girls earn their patches and pins. This month girl scouts will meet on Wednesday, March 24 at 7:00 pm and will have the opportunity to earn a fitness and nutrition patch. Get fit and have fun with Fairmount Center for the Arts Dance Instructor Julie Harmon. We will learn a dance fitness routine, talk about positive body image and the right foods to eat. Attendees must be between the ages of 7 Years and 12 Years old. Register online or call 440.255.8811.

Fairy Fun

Join us at the Headlands Branch on Monday, March 29 at 7:00 pm to make fantastic fairy crafts such as a fairy wand and garland headband. Open to ages 5-12. Registration is necessary as space is limited. Register online or call 440.257.2000.

Invent Yourself

This interactive educational program will explore the inventions and the minds behind Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell. Children ages 6 to 13 years old will learn about patents and conduct their own experiments using some of the same principles of both men at the Main Library on Wednesday, March 31 at 2:00 pm. They will also get to take apart a phone and other activities. Registration is necessary as space is limited. Register online or call 440.255.8811.
