We are fortunate to have a U.S. National Park in our backyard — doubly fortunate that they partner with us on our monthly Civil War series.

During the next talk in our series, we’ll discuss that valuable role the park service plays in battlefield preservation.

The National Park Service manages and interprets more preserved battlefields than any other organization in the country. Learn how it became to be the nation’s go-to federal agency for managing some of America’s most sacred battlegrounds.

The program will be noon, Nov. 8, at our Main Branch. It is free and open to all. You can register to attend on our website or call us at 440-255-8811 ext. 216.
