Dan Chaon brings ‘Ill Will’ and good reads to Mentor Library

Dan Chaon will read from his latest novel, Ill Will, on Wednesday, May 17, at Mentor Public Library.

Dan Chaon’s newest novel, Ill Will, has received awed reviews from NPRThe New York Times, and The Washington Post.

The Post called it “the scariest novel of the year.” Publishers Weekly praised it as a “singular vision of American dread.”

You can meet the man behind the monster-piece at Mentor Public Library at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, at our Main Branch.

Chaon will read from and discuss Ill Willwhich is set partially in Painesville. The talk is free and open to everyone. However, we do ask that you register beforehand. You can RSVP online or call us at (440) 255-8811 ext. 216.

By the way, Chaon’s entire bibliography is filled with worthy reads. His Among the Missing was a National Book Award finalist and his short stories have also won the Pushcart Prize and O. Henry Award.
