Singing a silly song during our Deck the Halls story time

Any time is good for story time, and that includes Christmas time.

We had our second Deck the Halls story time on Wednesday at our Main Branch. We sang songs, jingled bells, made crafts, and read a pair of picture books that are perfect for this time of year:

After the story time, the kids made a craft—Santa wedged in a chimney.

We have another Deck the Halls story time at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, at our Main Branch. It’s open to kids of all ages and no registration is required.

We also have a Christmas celebration for kids with cocoa and jolliness to spare at 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19, at our Lake Branch. (We do ask that you sign up for that one.)
