Did you love the show Downton Abbey and can’t wait for the film?

You can learn about the fashion and world of Downton Abbey during a special program at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at our Main Branch.

Laura Loew – an expert on the fashion and accessories of the era – will discuss how fashions changed from 1912 to 1924. She’ll also explain how different people’s wardrobes illuminated their characters. For example, Lady Mary often dresses in red compared to Lady Edith’s is oranges – a less bold color to match her less assertive personality..

The program is open to all and free to attend. We only that you register. You can sign up online or call us at (440) 255-8811 ext. 247.
