Mentor Public Library is looking for an enthusiastic full-time (40 hrs.) Librarian I to join our professional Adult Information Services Department team. This position requires a Master of Library Science degree issued by an ALA-accredited library school and will concentrate on creating engaging programs and services to meet the needs of teens grades 7 thru 12 and developing a strong partnership with the schools. This is a grade 8, bargaining unit position with an hourly wage rate of $17.65 – $26.48. Hours will include daytime hours, two or more evenings per week and weekend hours as needed and reports to the Adult Information Services Manager. Mentor Public Library is offering the following opportunities to join our dynamic shelving team: (2) part-time grade 1, shelver positions (12 hrs.) and (1) part-time grade 1, shelver position (20 hrs.) in our Materials Management Department. Applicants should be detail-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team and willing to work additional hours as needed. This is a regular bargaining unit position (not seasonal employment). Hours may include daytime, two or more evenings per week, and weekend hours including Sundays. Starting rate is $8.50 per hour.
