Break out the LEGO blocks and bring the whole family to the library for the City of Mentor’s Family Play Day on Saturday, April 8.
You and your family can pick the way that you want to play!
- come to our family movie afternoon at noon at our Main Branch. We provide the film and the popcorn. You can just relax. (This month’s movie is a tale as old as time.)
- celebrate Spring by making a special basket craft at our Headlands Branch.
Finally, we’re breaking out the LEGO blocks so you can build whatever you and your family imagine.
You see, Family Play Day began as LEGO Day. It honored 10-year-old Jacob Goss, whose battle with cancer and love of LEGO inspires all of us to build—not just with blocks, but relationships too.
We’ll provide the blocks. All you need is your imagination… and a little help from your family.
All of our Family Play Day events are free and don’t require registration. Just come out and play!
