Did you know that more than 28,000 people in Lake County needed help feeding themselves or their families last year? That includes nearly one in five children who live here.
You can help them by donating to United Way of Lake County’s annual Feed Lake County food drive.
From now until April 16, you can drop off nonperishable food at any of our branches. You can also donate money if you prefer. Every $25 can buy up to 100 meals.
Your donation will be shared with Lake County residents through the more than 50 food pantries in the county.
This drive is not our annual Can Your Fines food drive. We aren’t waiving fines for donations this time. Helping your neighbor is its own reward.
Thanks to your generosity, UWLC collected enough food for 208,524 meals that went to people who needed.
That’s the good news. The bad news is the need is still there.
Support your neighbor by donating food and help Feed Lake County.
