Happy Ha-Ha Holidays from the Headlands

Mr. Dennis gets some help with his Magical Washing Machine that launders Christmas stockings.

It’s not Christmas until Vern the Bird serenades the kids at our Headlands Branch.

Fortunately, Mr. Dennis brought Vern—along with a nose-less Rudolph and a magical washing machine—to his annual Christmas comedy show on Monday.

We hope the kids had as much fun as we did!

And the fun isn’t over yet either.

We still have some special programs coming up to celebrate the season, including:

  • a Christmas celebration for kids with cocoa and jolliness to spare at 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19, at our Lake Branch.
  • Deck the Halls story time with Christmas stories, songs and crafts at 10 a.m. on
Thursday, Dec. 22, at our Main Branch. This story time is open to all ages, and no registration is required.
  • a chance for families to make their own graham-cracker “ginger bread” houses without the ginger bread. Families can use graham crackers, frosting, and sweets to create something delicious at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, at our Lake Branch.

All of these programs are free, though some of them require registration beforehand. You can sign up on our online event calendar or by calling the library.
