Get in the game at Mentor Public Library.

Kids who come to Mentor Public Library on Saturday, Nov. 19, better be ready to play because it’s International Games Day.

We’ve got video-game tournaments, dance parties and mooshrooms all ready to go.

At noon, kids from five to 12 years old can join the Just Dance Party at our Main Branch. Jam to the tunes of Just Dance. You can boogie by yourself or with a group.

Then, teens can compete in our Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament from 2 to 3 p.m. One lucky gamer will even win a $25 gift card to GameStop (and bragging rights.)

Meanwhile, our Minecraft Club will meet at 2 p.m. at our Lake Branch. Each month, we mine, explore, and share strategies in the wide world of Minecraft.

All the programs are free but we ask that you register beforehand. You can sign up online or by calling us.

Want more? We also have a monthly video-game tournament called Clashing Controllers at our Lake Branch. The next tourney is 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

By the way gamers, we circulates games for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, and Wii U consoles, as well. Feel free to check them out.
