Even children are learning about dollars and sense during Money Smart Week at Mentor Public Library.
They played Wants vs. Needs Bingo (which is a good game for any age) and a kids’ version of Price Is Right on Monday night.
Then they painted their own Piggy Banks… well, Shark Banks, actually.
We have a lot more Money Smart Week left too!
Our programs include:
- Estate planning basics at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, at our Main Branch. Joseph L. Motta from The Society For Financial Awareness will talk about wills and trusts, protecting inheritances from creditors, and how to avoid probate court.
- Managing student loan debt at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, at our Main Branch. Financial adviser, Michael Kostelnik, will offer advice to those struggling with student loans. He’ll suggest different payment strategies, as well as tips and goals to help you manage your debt and get out from under it faster.
- Retirement savings and tax tips with financial adviser, Stan Lipinski, at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 28, at our Lake Branch.
All of our Money Smart Week programs are free and open to the public—which, of course, makes them very money smart. However, we do ask that you register for them beforehand. You can sign up on our event calendar or call us at (440) 255-8811.
