Summer Times Begin June 6!

Summer Story Times run June 6 – July 28. Story time is a great way to introduce your child to the library and books! It also reinforces early literary skills that will help your child when he or she starts school and is ready to learn to read. Our story times are filled with great age appropriate stories, rhymes and music.

 

Tiddlywinks will take place on every Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.

    • These are for children 36 mos. and younger, accompanied by an adult.

 Preschool Story Time will take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m.

    • This is for kids 3-6.  Children are expected to sit in the class without a guardian

Special Summer Story Time: A Walk in the Park will take place on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.

  • Let’s take a walk! The sun is shining and it’s time to stretch those legs!
  • We will meet at the library entrance at 10:00 a.m.
  • Then we will walk down the Eleonore B. Garfield Park for a special story time and a snack, followed by a walk back to the library
  • Ages 0 – 3 with parents, registration is required

Mother Goose on the Loose story times will take place on Friday mornings at 10 a.m in the Read House.
There are two separate sessions: January 13 – February 3 and February 10 – March 3.

    • These are for children 36 mos. and younger, accompanied by an adult.
    • This event requires registration.

 

Family Story Time will take place on  Fridays at 11:00 a.m.

    • This is for all ages, with crafts and stories that are also used in preschool story times (focuses on ages 3-5)
