It’s difficult to imagine a sauropod stomping down Center Street or a Tyrannosaurus stalking its pray in Veterans Park, but Ohio—like almost anywhere above water during the Mesozoic Era—was once the realm of the dinosaurs.

You can learn about the dinosaurs who used to live where you now call home during a special program at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7, at our Main Branch.

Bill Urbanski, a docent from Cleveland Natural Natural History, will share specimens from his extensive collection of fossils and talk about the history of dinosaurs in Ohio.

The talk is free and open to everyone. We do ask that you register to attend beforehand. You can sign up online or call us at (440) 255-8811 ext. 216.
