Our new executive director wants to hear from you!

You can meet Cheryl Kuonen from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, at our Main Branch. Tell her what you love about Mentor Public Library and get a free book.

While you’re here, you can check out everything the library has to offer.

We’ll be celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday with Seuss-pendous games, crafts and even cake (while it lasts) in our Children’s Department as part of Read Across America.

Seniors can enjoy some soothing coloring during our Get Calm, Color On program at 10 a.m. and again at 1 p.m.

Our Minecraft Club will mine, explore, and share strategies in the wide world of Minecraft at 4 p.m.

Finally, you can learn how to protect your credit and identity online during a special program at 6:30 p.m. The speaker, Bob Houston, will present real-life examples of cyber scams from which people need to protect themselves.

That’s quite a medley of programming—Dr. Seuss, Minecraft, adult coloring, online security, and meeting the new director too!—but that’s what the library offers: something for all ages and interests.

All of our programs are free, though you do need to register for some of them. You can RSVP online or call us at 440-255-8811.

By the way, feel free to borrow some books, movies, music and video games when you visit us Thursday. Those are free also.
