Ferguson was so enamored with Laura Ingalls Wilder, writer of the Little House on the Prairie series, that she donned a prairie dress and traced Wilder’s path from Wisconsin to Minnesota, South Dakota to Missouri.
Ferguson’s experience inspired her memoir, My Life as Laura: How I Searched for Laura Ingalls Wilder and Found Myself.
The funny and moving memoir tells her own adventure of personal growth on Laura’s trail through the upper Midwest.
Ferguson will share her story and the Laura love when she speaks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, at our Main Branch.
Her book will be available for sale and signing afterward.
The program is free to attend and open to all. You can register to attend online or call us at (440) 255-8811 ext. 247.
