Orchids are lovely, colorful and—to the novice gardener—intimidating.

However, flora fans might be surprised to learn how hardy orchids can be. And they’ll re-bloom regularly if they receive the proper water, light, temperature, humidity and fertilizer.

Lake County Master Gardener Susan Cowling will share her expertise on orchids during a free program at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, at our Main Branch.

Cowling’s talk is open to all. We only ask that you RSVP. You can register online or call us at (440) 255-8811 ext. 241.
