Learn about childbirth options during a program on Thursday, April 6, at Mentor Public Library.

Are you pregnant (or thinking about getting pregnant) and have questions about your child’s birth?

We are hosting a program that may help you find answers.

Trisha Lawrie will discuss how to have a safe and satisfying birth at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, at our Main Branch.

Lawrie is a certified Birthworks instructor. Her website explains that:

BirthWorks is a wonderful program that takes into consideration the experience of giving birth both emotionally and physically. The underlying philosophy of the program is that women instinctively know how to birth their babies… they need only learn to trust themselves and their bodies.

At the library, Lawrie will provide an overview of techniques to avoid Caesarean sections and other types of medical intervention.

Her talk is free and open to everyone. However, we do ask that you sign up beforehand. You can register online or by calling us at (440) 255-8811 ext. 216.
