Sometimes, you don’t need to give children instructions.
You just give them the tools, and they’ll do something memorable.
That’s what happened during our most recent Make-It Monday. We provided some supplies and they built an awesome fort with tunnels, a ball pit, and even a Time Out chair. (Thankfully, the chair proved unnecessary.)
The kids also followed a scavenger hunt, scouring our Read House yard for landmarks from around the world.
We’re hosting Make-It Mondays at 1 p.m. at our Read House on each Monday during Summer Reading.
Every week, we’ll have a different theme, as well as different crafts and games. It’s free and open to all kids. No registration necessary!
This upcoming Monday, we’re working with water.
