Learn the basics of self-defense during a free program at Mentor Public Library.

You don’t need a black belt to know how to protect yourself.

You can learn the basics of self-defense during a free program at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, at our Main Branch.

The experts from Family Karate will teach you some easy escapes, basic striking techniques, and mental preparedness.

The program is open to everyone 13 and older. However, we do ask that you register beforehand. You can sign up online or call us at (440) 255-8811 ext. 216.

Please wear comfortable clothes, as you’ll be moving around a lot for this session.
