Kids going into second through fifth grade can get a free introduction to sign language on June 12 at Mentor Public Library.

Children can get a free introduction to sign language on Monday, June 12, at our Main Branch.

There will be two 30-minute sessions. The first—for kids going into second and third grade—begins at 10 a.m. The second—for children entering fourth and fifth grade—starts at 10:30 a.m.

Both sessions are free to attend. However, the library does ask that families RSVP ahead of time.

You can register a spot for your children by calling us at (440) 255-8811 ext. 221.

Also, we have a slew of books and videos that you can borrow if you’re interested in learning sign language. You can even take an online sign language course via Gale Courses for free with your library card.
