The Creation Station: Stop Motion Workshop @ Lake

Tech Lab Tryouts @ Lake (Kids and Teens)

Have you ever wanted to try out the latest greatest gadgets? The Lake Branch will have tech lab stations set up for all ages to come and try drones, virtual reality goggles, the 3D pen and so much more! Attendee must be between the ages of 5 Years and 18 Years old. Registration is required.

Pizza and Comics Club @ Main

The Pizza and Comics Club is a new book discussion group for teens, grades seven and up. At every session, we will gather to eat pizza and discuss a single issue of a comic book. Our first meeting will be on Tuesday October 4th at 5:00 PM in the Cleveland Room, and we will meet on the first Tuesday of every month thereafter. Contact Reference staff for more information.

Can you fly a drone? Do you have what it takes to program a robot? Come to the library, try out a Mini Drone, and perform tasks with it. Want to try your hand with an Ozbot? We will show you how to program and race them. Attendee must be between the grades of 7 and 12.

Download eBooks & Audiobooks!

Don’t read your books – Listen to them instead! Not only can you download eBooks at MPL, but now you can also download Audiobooks. Audiobooks can now be loaded onto PCs, Macs®, MP3 players, and many other mobile devices directly from your computer at home.

Mentor Public Library has expanded its online services by adding “eAudiobooks,” available to download from the library’s Web site through a new service powered by OverDrive. The service is free to patrons with a Mentor Public Library card. Users will need to install OverDrive® Media Console™ a free software found on the library’s Web site.
