Write On: A Writing Club for Teens @ Main

A monthly creative writing club for teens! Each month focuses on a different prompt. A fun way to expand your creative writing, get some great ideas, and meet other teen writers. All writing levels welcomed, and snacks will be provided.

Time Travelers Club – 1970s String Art @ MOL

Teens! Join us each month as we try out games, crafts, and other activities that were popular in the past! This month, we try our hand at string art, the craft fad that peaked in the 1970s. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

ACT Prep Session @ Main

The ACT is coming and the time to prepare is now. These session will focus on test taking techniques and practice under timed conditions.test

The first session, on Saturday, September 24th from 10 am – 1 pm, will work on the English and Reading Comprehension sections of the test. In the second session, on Saturday, October 1 from 10 am – 1 pm, we will work on the Math and Science sections.

Don’t read your books – Listen to them instead! Not only can you download eBooks at MPL, but now you can also download Audiobooks. Audiobooks can now be loaded onto PCs, Macs®, MP3 players, and many other mobile devices directly from your computer at home.

Mentor Public Library has expanded its online services by adding “eAudiobooks,” available to download from the library’s Web site through a new service powered by OverDrive. The service is free to patrons with a Mentor Public Library card. Users will need to install OverDrive® Media Console™ a free software found on the library’s Web site.
