Young scientists can learn how to build their own terrarium with our Picking Up STEAM Club at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, at our Lake Branch.

The children will also explore ecology and learn about the water cycle.

Our club is open to all kids in kindergarten through fifth grade. Families can register to attend online or call our Lake Branch at (440) 257-2512.

Each month, the kids in our Picking Up STEAM Club learn about science, math and more with interactive experiments.

(For those unfamiliar with the acronym, STEAM—in this case—stands for Science Technology Engineering Art & Mathematics.)

While visiting the Lake Branch, kids can also play with our new STEAM station.

Children as young as two can learn about science, tech and more by playing with our educational toys.

Practice colors and counting with the Color Chameleon. Improve your motor skills with the EMIDO blocks, puzzles, and MagnaDoodle Sketch Board. Learn about science with our Insect Exploration Kit and My First Microscope.

They’ll have fun and learn something too.
