We’re going to need more honey…

On Saturday, we threw a Winnie-the-Pooh tea party with games and crafts all dedicated to everyone’s favorite bear. It was so much fun that Eeyore nearly cracked a smile.

The kids made honeycomb necklaces—because any Pooh party requires a lot of honey—as well as party hats.

They also built up an appetite with some Tigger-cize and, then, snacked on treats like Piglets-in-a-blanket and a honey-dripped dessert.

Alexis sneaks a bit of honeycomb from her necklace for a snack. (Pooh would approve.)

We love a good party at Mentor Public Library, whether it be a princess, PinkaliciousPoppins or Pooh party.

We’re even having a special Un-Birthday Party on Thursday, May 12, at our Main Branch.

Kids can celebrate their un-birthday with un-birthday games, music, crafts and, naturally, un-birthday cake! (You’re invited, even if it’s your actual birthday.)

Of course, our Un-Birthday Party—like all of our programs—is free. However, we do ask that you register beforehand. You can sign up by calling us at (440) 255-8811 ext. 221.

See you at the party!
