WWII series continues with focus on Franklin Roosevelt

Our Major Leaders of World War II series will continue this month with a program focusing on Franklin Roosevelt.

The talk begins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, at our Main Branch.

The speaker will be our own John Foster. In addition to being a reference librarian, Foster earned a doctorate degree in history with a specialization in Modern German History. He has taught topics as diverse as the Holocaust and Napoleon’s rise to power.

Foster will discuss Roosevelt’s life, political career and the pivotal role he played in WWII.
