WWII series concludes with focus on Winston Churchill

Our Major Leaders of World War II series will continue this month with a program focusing on Churchill.

The talk begins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, at our Main Branch.

The speaker will be our own John Foster. In addition to being a reference librarian, Foster earned a doctorate degree in history with a specialization in Modern German History. He has taught topics as diverse as the Holocaust and Napoleon’s rise to power.

Foster will discuss Churchill’s life, political career and the pivotal role he played in WWII.

This program is free and open to everyone. People can register to attend online or by calling us at (440) 255-8811 ext. 216.
