What do you know about the island of Guam? That it’s a US territory and serves as a major US military base?

You don’t need any prior knowledge to enjoy a special program about Guam and its attractions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, at our Main Branch.

Speaker Kevin Magee will take you on a deep dive so you can learn about Guam’s intriguing sights both above and below the water. This includes shipwrecks from both World Wars, Pacific war museums, manta rays, giant clams, anemone fish, native islander culture, and many other attractions normally associated with more popular destinations in the same area of the Pacific.

And if you want to know more about the island afterward, we know a neat place where you can borrow books and DVDs.
