Registered dietitian Melinda Wivell will offer advice on how to jumpstart a healthy diet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at our Main Branch. She’ll explain how to find a diet that sticks. She’ll also discuss popular diets like Keto, and talk about their effectiveness and safety. Bring your questions!

By the way, we also have a registered dietitian visiting us earlier this month to discuss the sugar in our diets. Melanie Jatsek will discuss the dangers of sugar at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at our Main Branch.
Jatsek will explain how sugar is hidden in nearly all foods, the effects of sugar on the body, and just how addictive sugar is. Jatsek is also a blogger for Heinen’s grocery stores, and she’ll be joined by wellness consultants from Heinen’s.
