Do you know a stressed out teen? Give them an afternoon off, and tell them that they’re invited to our Spa Day at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, at our Main Branch.
Teens (ages 11-18) will enjoy warm foot baths, nail polish, face masks and more in a relaxing setting. Refreshments will also be provided.
Our Spa Day is free to attend. Of course, due to limited space, registration is required. You can sign up online or call the library at (440) 255-8811 ext. 247.
By the way, we’re hosting several health and wellness programs in January. So if your New Year’s Resolution is to feel better and live healthier, you may want to check out:
- Kicking the Sugar Habit with registered dietitian Melanie Jatsek at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at our Main Branch. Discover how sugar is hidden in many foods, its effects on the body, and just how addictive sugar really is.
- Jumpstarting a Healthy Diet with registered dietitian Melinda Wivell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at our Main Branch. She’ll explain how to find a healthy diet that sticks. She’ll also discuss popular diets like Keto, and talk about their effectiveness and safety. Bring your questions!
