Oanh Loi-Powell and Mike Powell wanted to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Cleveland Asian Festival. As library lovers and lifelong learners, they decide to create a Little Free Library for the AsiaTown neighborhood where the festival occurs.

If you don’t know, a Little Free Library is essentially a community book exchange. People can pick up a book up a book or two for free, and old books can found new readers instead of being thrown out. (Mentor Public Library helps stock more than a dozen Little Free Libraries in Lake County.)

Specifically, Oanh used The HUB’s vinyl cutter to make the stickers that adorn it. The lanterns, cherry blossoms, even the “Take a Book, Leave a Book” text – all made in The HUB.
