Creepy Altered Books (Teens & Tweens) @ Lake
Turn an old book into a creepy Halloween decoration. There’s no school today so visit us for some creative fun. We’ll provide all the materials for a huntingly good time. Bwahaha! Teens and tweens ages 9 and up, registration begins Friday, October 4.

Zombie Challenge @ Main
Join our Zombie Challenge and try to guess what zombie “brains”, “eyeballs” and more are made out of while blindfolded! Come for zombie games, prizes, and candy – costumes welcome as well! Grades 7-12. Registration begins October 16th.

Mario Kart RC Racing @ Main
Registration begins November 2nd. Experience the thrill of Mario Kart in real life as we use remote control cars to play a spin on classic Mario Kart multiplayer modes – including battle and grand prix! Ages 11-18.

Bad Art Club (Adults & Teens) @ Headlands
Come to the Headlands Branch as, each month, we explore new mediums & techniques that will help you express your creativity in new ways and give you permission to make something ugly or less than perfect. Making bad art is better than making no art at all!

Don’t read your books – Listen to them instead! Not only can you download eBooks at MPL, but now you can also download Audiobooks. Audiobooks can now be loaded onto PCs, Macs®, MP3 players, and many other mobile devices directly from your computer at home.
Mentor Public Library has expanded its online services by adding “eAudiobooks,” available to download from the library’s Web site through a new service powered by OverDrive. The service is free to patrons with a Mentor Public Library card. Users will need to install OverDrive® Media Console™ a free software found on the library’s Web site.
