Meet the Unsinkable Molly Brown
Margaret “Molly” Brown
The unsinkable Margaret “Molly” Brown was immortalized in a single moment — that is the early hours of April 15, 1912, when the passenger liner RMS Titanic sank — but her entire life is remarkable.
You can not only learn about but meet Ms. Brown (as performed by an actress from Women in History) during a special program at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 11, at our Main Branch.
Discover how Brown’s family earned its massive wealth, her mission to improve the lives of women, and her heroism the night the Titanic sank.
This program is free and open to all. You can register to attend online or by calling us at (440) 255-8811 ext. 247.
By the way, if you’re interested in the Titanic, we have dozens of books and documentaries that you can borrow. (We also have that movie, if you want.)
