Volunteer

Do you love the Mentor Public Library? Are you looking for a fun and exciting way to give back to the community? Become a volunteer at MPL! We can always use help at our Book Sales and other events through the year.

MPL welcomes volunteers 14 years of age and older.

Mentor Public Library participates in offering volunteer experiences for school-based credit upon availability. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with court-mandated volunteering.

It’s easy to volunteer at the Mentor Public Library; just click on the link below to complete a Volunteer Registration Form.

You will be contacted after completing the registration form online by Robin Pfeifer. You can also contact Robin at (440) 255-8811 Ext #224

MPL is looking for reliable teens (14+) to help with our Children’s Programs. If you are interested, please complete the registration form (from the link above) and contact Kim Sidorick at (440) 255-8811 Ext. #223

Please Note: If the Library is closed due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, a notice will be posted at mentorpl.org and will also be available through local news channels. Volunteer duties would not take place on that day.

As a volunteer, please check the status of the library before venturing out in bad weather. Your safety is our #1 priority!
