Susan PetroneDiscover the risks and rewards of turning real-life events and places into fiction with author Susan Petrone during a special online program hosted by Mentor Public Library.

Petrone’s talk is free to attend and open to all. It will be shared via Zoom at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 11.

Petrone used actual events from her family’s history to write her recently published novel, The Heebie-Jeebie Girl. Her story takes place in Youngstown, 1977, at the time when the city’s largest steel mill has just closed and the worst blizzard in over 40 years has hit the area. It’s a tale of change, family, and redemption.

This program will be a live Zoom event, and registration is required. People can sign up online or by calling us at 440-255-8811.
